  I didn't know anything or what to expect on my first visit to MOD PIZZA. It appeared everyone knew what they were doing and moving along faster than I could decide on a pie...and then I saw what was happening. They use the oh so familiar assembly line system like Port of Subs, Subway, Burrito Bandito or Chipotle's. A fast, you build it, they cook it bing bam boom. Great choices all lined up for your personal liking. Great concept, nice crust and a fast fire oven...got to love it. As for those pizza joints that are over charging for the simplicity for a pie, look out. As a side note: Redding is figuring out the importance of service and this place is a shining example.

  Definitely not up to par tonight. We've been coming here for years and tonight I have watch them remake pizzas because they are under cooked and mushy and cold!
  Mine was one of them. And speaking with the staff they act like they don't care that it puts the customer out and they have to wait to have it remade.
  It was obviously pulling them out of the oven too soon in a big hurry!!!
  What was most upsetting is they all have attitudes it like they don't want to be here tonight and I was a thorn in their side.
  Never seen such bad attitudes here before.

  We were just passing thru, from Crater Lake to home in Morgan Hill Ca. We left Medford later than planned so I ordered with the app for pickup. I ordered when we were 27 mins or so from this location. Several minutes more than what the app was saying for wait time.
  
  We got there. Pizzas weren't done. We had to wait 10-15 mins. Normally not a big deal but we were already going to be super late getting home so it was annoying to wait this time.
  
  My pizza was good, I was happy they followed the note and went lite on the dairy free cheese. However my husband's was more burnt than acceptable on the bottom. When we got home (after 1 am) I was emptying the cooler and my son's leftover pieces were pretty burnt on the bottom. More than you'd expect from a wood fired/type pizza oven. Pretty sure my son only ate as much as he did because by the time we got to Redding it was 8:30/9 and he was hungry.
  
  They were super busy, but still I ordered with time to spare in the app, and we still had to wait. This was the first time I'd ordered with the app, but I remember that at our usual mod pizza at home I've seen ppl come in for an app order and they haven't even started making it! I think in general mod pizza needs to work on having orders ready on time. Or make their app times accurate to actual times. ‍

  Pizza was good, but the girl that gave us our pizza almost acted like we were putting her out, to give us our pizza, give us a box and some ranch.  Also, she wiped the sweat off with her hand and continued to finish the pizzas. She didnt even have any eye contact with us and when we asked about a box, she just pointed over to where the boxes were.  She really needs to be taught customer service.  Before we had gotten our pizza. A lady walked up and asked about her pizza, the same girls said, "oh, we accidentally gave it away  and have to remake it" . She never apologized to the lady and she just had a snooty look on her face the entire time we were there.

  Excellent pizza at an excellent price. Unlimited toppings! Great tasting crust and the wifey loves the pizza salad! Fun location!
